We have a new button for websites to allow users to add an item to their favorites list. These items will be easily accessible when a user logs in. The user is never directed away from the website except when they need to register first.
Our tool box opens and closes at the bottom of the program.
We have a drag and drop cart that always stays in the lower corner of the canvas. Just drop any thumnail or item into it. To view the cart just click it.
When a user puts an item in the cart the item is requested. If the seller has the item they ok the request and send it back to the users cart. The user checks back to see what items are available and continues to pay for the order. This extra process helps avoid costly refunds. And insures they have all the items they need for a project before ordering.
The most challenging change has been making the program fit most screens. We need feedback from our users to help meet this challenge. Now it stretches to fit wide an standard screens. There are some small bugs with smaller screens that we're still fixing.
In the panel for adding items you can pay to have your smaller images extracted from a large image. After adding all your items it tallys it up and uses the cart to pay. You can add or remove any image from the list.
What's next?
Our next goal is to have a page maker for each item.
The page maker will insert values for the item into a template they have chosen or made.
This will allow the user to build a website that looks unique. Each time they add an item they can choose to publish a page for the item on their own website. The user pays a monthly fee for hosting. They have a Cpanel for monitoring their website. They get to choose their domain name.
General information:
This is the first craft design software for the web which allows users to add their items to be viewed on the internet! It's been in development since June of 2004. It's the first marketing tool designed for the user to buy from multiple sellers in one order.
It started as a design board to allow beads to be positioned on the screen. However, the software is not limited to jewelry. The Craft Board allows a user to design just about anything, then order the craft supplies for the project. These items are from various users that want to share their design images, or sellers who advertise their beads or items. A person can spend hours looking for ideas and craft supplies, then spend money on projects that don't turn out as expected. Save time an money by visualizing your item before you make it! You may also browse patterns other users have decided to share, or advertise your own designs. Best of all you get the current prices from sellers while connected to the net without having to search the internet by reloading your saved design.
— The main goal of perlygates.net is to allow users to visualize their designs and be more creative before buying. — Connect sellers and designers with buyers. — Make the bead board software a place where users can share their ideas. — Images of beads can be posted anywhere on the web. When a user clicks the image it is added to there favorites on the beadboard. — Downloadable program to work with designing offline. You can chop your own images and put them on the board, and keep track of where you purchased them from. — Jewelry sites can be hosted at beadboard.org. This will be only for jewelry sites. You may have a site set up by contacting yourkeylady@earthlink.net. Goals in progress: — Beadboard.biz is on it's way to completion. Here people who have only a few items to sell may do so. Various sellers of anything beady can sell it by posting a page at beadboard.biz. There will be a sales commision for each item. Each item is also loaded on the beadboard.
The Craft Design Board was designed for any website or person who sells craft supplies to allow users to assemble parts on a board and place an order for the parts. Here it is used to allow designers to explore ideas in jewelry design. Other types of applications might be T-shirt design, or quilt design. Anything that requires assembly before buying can be done with the Craft Design Board. It measures and tracks content. Pricing can vary for bulk items. It allows for shapes to be plotted on a grid, and much more. Check it out!
